The system features Rubbermaid's patented FreeSlide shelf and hang rod that allows hangers to slide uninterrupted from end to end. The organizer offers long and short hanging space. A narrow, melamine tower with 6 shelves is great for storing sweaters, jeans, linens, and other folded items. This kit is designed for closets 8 feet in length, but can be cut down to fit in a closet as short as 5 feet. Steel construction means optimal stability and no sag. None of the descriptions mention needing a hacksaw, but you will need one to trim the metal shelving. I was unpleasently surprised to find this out. Other than that, I'm fairly satisfied. The directions arn't very clear, so if you're not very handy you're going to need some help.
