Super Outdoor Storage Shed October 6, 2008 G. Lambert (Huntsville, AL) The Rubbermaid Slide-Lid Storage Shed #3752 (92 cubic ft.) is wonderful. It holds a great deal of outdoor tools (lawn mower, power washer, weed eater, and power edger). Assumbly was easy and shipping by truck was only $25 from Amazon even though it weighed well over 200 pounds. It comes in two boxes, so be sure you get both if you order it. We could not find this item on the Rubbermaid web page, so it is probably discontinued. We could not be happier!
Cleared out the garage June 27, 2008 Michael Crenshaw 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This shed was a pain with shipping. The boxes are huge and it came on a pallet. Once I got it out the boxes it went together easily with basic hand tools. The size is nice, it is not tall enough to be viewed over standard 6 ft. privacy fences. It holds my push mower without folding the handle, along with the trimmer, edger, blower, bags of fertilizer, spreader, and gas can with plenty of room to spare. I recommend this shed highly. The construction seems durable. The only drawback is that the ground needs to be completely level or the doors will not shut properly and the hole on the latch is not big enough for a standard padlock. You would have to use one the size of a luggage lock.
Doors fall off April 25, 2008 R. Meyer (Bartlett, IL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've had the slide lid shed for almost 2 years now and for the most part it does the job of storing all of the kids bikes and outdoor toys. The biggest issue I have with the shed it the poorly designed door hinges. The little plastic nubs that hold the door in place simply broke off. To fix this I've added decorative metal fence hinges which I bent to follow the contour of the doors. I have a feeling the hinges will now outlast the rest of the shed.
Great Product April 9, 2008 Bertto (NJ) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
So far so good. Great product if you dont have a garage. We have a small shorehouse and its perfect for our beach stuff and our bikes. The slide lid makes it easy to put everything in and take stuff out. A little pricey, but worth the money.
Not as solid as had hoped September 28, 2007 mamaof2babies (NJ) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Just purchased for childrens bicycles 9/07. Took my poor husband almost 2 hours to assemble because of all the parts. Once assembled saw it was not as solid as had hoped. Kind of wobbly. I just hope it stands up to our East Coast winters and rainy windy springs. That will remain to be seen.
