This is one of Hunter's top-of-the-line and best selling fans. This fan comes with many great features. A standard downrod is provided for installing your fan on a ceiling 8-10 feet high. Please Note: The decorative twig attachment will not fit on the standard downrod. For ceilings 10 feet or higher, an extension downrod and decorative twig attachment are provided. The decorative twig cannot be added to the fan when installing on ceilings lower than 10 feet.

It may not throw off much light, but the inside of the bowl is glazed so it reflects colors on the white ceiling. I feel the design is stunning, for a basement refinish project with nice rustic colors. It's definitely a mood piece. We are moving and I'm trying to find another one on-line, or I'll have to find a substitute and take this one with me!

Quality is not what I would have expected. The "oil rubbed bronze" is a painted on finish that is easily chipped. I bought this unit for less than $100. What they are charging now, $165, is definitely too much. I have purchased other Hunter fans, notably the Paramount XP, and was expecting better. Also, as a note, the light kit uses three 40 watt candelabra bulbs and, due to the dark brown of the glass, is totally useless for anything other than a night light.
