This is a really cute idea, but it is difficult to make the cupcakes without them sticking to the pan. I was able to make it work by spraying the pan liberally with non-stick cooking spray, then letting the cupcakes cool completely, running a toothpick around the edges, and then removing them carefully from the pan. Also, you must fill the cupcake batter to a very specific point so they are not too small or too big. If you are willing to put in all that effort, you will get a very cute result.
