The Lasko tower heater is very good...keeps me warm.
The remote control and the high power and low power settings are useful.
Was able to reduce the home temperatures to 3 degrees below the regular setting in the evenings

Lasko makes well made products but they always fall short in engineering. This product blows luke warm air on either low or high. The thermastat does not work well at all. The blower dosen't stay on long enough after the thermastat is satisfied for heat and causes a heat buid up around the capillary bulb and the heater cycles on and off at the wrong tempature. Don't waste your money get a heat dish, doesn't look that great but does a much better job.

Lasko heaters are quality products. I have purchased 5 within the last year and a half, three for my home and two for relatives. I love their products to include three fans for summer use. Although the early tower version, approximately 3 years, was built with more weight and appears to be built to last longer. I have to wait to see. Lasko keep up the great production and this guy shall continue to support you. Thanks.

I bought this heater for use in my living room (about 12x12 ft), since it is at the end of the house with windows, so stays about 5 deg cooler than the rest of the house. I turned this unit on, and its digital display showed 65 deg room temperature. After running at high for 2 hours, it still showed 65 deg room temperature, and my room felt exactly the same temperature to me. And, as another review also mentioned, when I am sitting "in the line of fire" of this heater, I actually felt colder than when it was off, due to the room-temperature/lukewarm air that it puts out, creating a cool draft.
