this is a very good item. our old hamper got torn apart by our cat because it was made of wicker. this one is plastic so the cat can't tear it up. this hamper has wheels so it makes it convenient to bring over to your washer. very glad we bought this item. we definitely reccomend it.

Someone else said it best.. this thing needs a longer handle and rubber wheels.. seriously.. that's genius! Exactly what is needed here!
But overall this is the only non-metal hamper/cart that has a large capacity AND that has wheels! It's wider than most other hampers, but a bit shorter
Why don't more hampers have wheels.. seriously, laundry is heavy!
The wheel broke off on mine, so I had to macgyver it back on w/ some long screws.. so it's not as sturdy as I'd like. But after months of dragging a regular non-wheeled hamper to the laundry, I wore the bottom out...so yes its definitely better than that!

Unfortunately, I have to give this item a bad review. (1) the handle is too short. I'm five feet tall and have to stay somewhat bent to pull it or push it to the laundromat which is not at all comfortable so this won't be comfortable for most people who are taller than me. (2) the wheels are plastic and make alot of racket on a cement sidewalk - sounds like a person dragging a garbage can. This was a good idea that needs a little tweaking - just needs to have a longer handle and rubber wheels.

For those who need the convenience of a wheeled hamper, this is a good one. Sturdy, large capacity, rolls easily, looks good. No problems so far.

I live in a small space and need things that do double duty. This hamper looks good enough to leave out in my bedroom and is easy to take straight to the laundry. I had a wheeled, fold-up hamper that I just loved (it was light and folded up to store under the bed) and had a separate, attractive hamper to hold dirty clothes between trips to the laundry. I liked this best, but was unable to find another fold-up cloth hamper that worked as well as my original. This rubbermaid is a good compromise. It rolls well and is fairly lightweight.
