Terrific Spatula of a different dimension.November 13, 2008 Nice Lady(Alaska) This is a wonderful kitchen accessory. It has a good neck on it to facilitate flipping & provide ergonomic stability. Use it for those Saturday morning pancakes, turning that awkward sized object, etc. The neck allows you to get easily into a high rimmed pan. The silicon does not scrape your expensive pans. It is tolerant to 500 degrees. Super!

Flipper is shaped to be used in a skillet with high sides. The silicon is reinforced with metal to stiffen the flipping area. If you use a flat pan with small sides, it could push the cakes around a bit before the flipper gets under them. Is most effective in a large pan with high sides as the handle is angled to work with the sides. Try to find a side view. Well made.
