Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Sliding under a delicate piece of fish or a crepe you need a spatula that has gently curved edges and a wide head, with just the right amount of bend vs. resistance. You also want a slotted spatula capable of effortlessly lifting weightier foods like a salmon steak. Thanks to its remarkable heat-resistance you can leave it resting against the skillet without melting it. Durable, good looking, and designed with both function and comfort in mind, this tool coordinates with your black KitchenAid appliances.

Amazon.com Review
This flexible spatula bends with your food, not against it, so you won't end up mangling the delicate omelet you're trying to flip. The 4-by-5-inch head has rounded corners and tapered edges to slide easily underneath the biggest pancake or the heaviest burger, and the slotted surface leaves cooking grease and sauce behind in the pan. Because it's constructed from highly heat-resistant silicone, this turner won't melt if you leave it propped up against a skillet, and it won't scratch or otherwise harm your beloved nonstick pans. The KitchenAid logo even doubles as a spatula rest, so you can place the turner up against the rim of a pan without it sliding in. With its cheery chrome accents and convenient hanging loop, this turner will brighten your kitchen even as it stays within arm's reach. --Mary Park

5 out of 5 stars Perfect.   September 30, 2008

Best turner I've ever used. Period. High heat resistance, good size, gentle on nonstick, and cleans up easily. Not even eggs stick to it. Sturdy enough that I don't think I'll ever have to buy a replacement. And if you're stupid enough to melt the plastic part directly on a heat source (other Amazon reviewers) that's your own fault.

Now, instead of getting egg all under my fingernails I can use this spatula to flip them over.
Great huh?

It's larger than I expected, and fairly flexible, but I have used it for cookies and crepes and it works wonderfully.

5 out of 5 stars So far, so good!   December 13, 2006

I've had mine for about a year, using it a couple times a week and it's held up well. I keep waiting for the neck to break (based on other reviewers' feedback), but it's been okay. I don't have a dishwasher, so maybe that's why I'm not having some of the issues that others are...

2 out of 5 stars Looking for a better spatula   August 14, 2006

The edge of the spatula, after only two weeks, has started to fall off in little pieces. I only washed it in soapy warm water and was very careful every time. I read other reviews that said this was a problem. I thought if I was very careful it wouldn't happen. But it did. I will return it.
