Product Description Sliding under a fragile pancake you need a turner that has gently curved edges and a wide head, with just the right amount of bend vs. resistance. You also want a turner capable of effortlessly lifting weightier foods like an oversized burger. Thanks to its remarkable heat-resistance you can leave it resting against the skillet without melting it. Durable, good looking, and designed with both function and comfort in mind, this tool coordinates with your black KitchenAid appliances.
Amazon.com Review Firing up the grill? The shorter, 8-inch length and slightly stiffer feel of this turner makes it the tool of choice for flipping smaller, heavier items like thick burgers. The 4-1/2-by-3-inch head has rounded corners and tapered edges, so it also slides easily underneath the biggest pancake or the heaviest grilled cheese. Because it's constructed from highly heat-resistant silicone, this turner won't melt if you leave it propped up against a skillet, and it won't scratch or otherwise harm your beloved nonstick pans. The KitchenAid logo even doubles as a spatula rest, so you can place the turner up against the rim of a pan without it sliding in. With its cheery chrome accents and convenient hanging loop, this turner will brighten your kitchen even as it stays within arm's reach. --Mary Park

So far so good July 1, 2007 enb14 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This spatula is very durable and MUCH easier to clean than my old plastic spatula. It doesn't shred like that one either (yuck). I'm going to look for a larger size for breakfast items; it's a little small for flipping pancakes and omelettes, but works great for cookies and such.
Broke after a year April 26, 2007 Gregory Johnson (Boston, MA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Mine broke after a year of light to medium use. I didn't put excessive strain on it. The break occurred on the handle where the plastic grip meets the silicone-covered part. Beneath the silicone is a plastic core that snapped. Otherwise, the turner worked well and did not scratch on teflon.
Favorite spatula ever January 3, 2007 Lori A. Smith (Commack, NY United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Perfect size for me. Easy to clean. Just the right flexibility. Have had it for a while and is still in new condition.

Heavy handle January 12, 2006 Abovealldonoharm (United States) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
This is a nice product but the handle is heavy and sometimes it will flip over when you try to balance it on the pan.
