Product Description Core apples and pears easily with this garnishing tool. Whether for baking, poaching, pie-making, or snacking, removal of the core and seeds makes eating these fruits a carefree pleasure.
Amazon.com Review What could be more American than a homemade apple pie? And what could possibly be more tedious than cutting up all those apples for baking? This handy corer will take 10 minutes or more off the prep time for delectable desserts like tarte tatin, apple crisp, brown Betty, and turnovers. Just push into the stem of an apple and twist--it's easy as, well, pie. A hanging hook lets you keep this tool within arm's reach throughout the fall harvest. --Mary Park

Can it Core an Apple? November 10, 2006 Mary Brodsky (New York, NY) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Yes it can, with ease. Very handy little tool to have especially in this season of pies. It works very nicely and I would recommend Kitchen Aid products to anyone.

This is worth the money I have put out for it....very reliable and sturdy
Slip slidin' away.... January 13, 2005 Ken (California) 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
This corer's grip is slippery if your hands are wet. (How often does this happen when you're working in the kitchen?) Also, because of its thin handle, turning the tool is not as easy as it should be.
Don't mess about! January 9, 2003 nickunt (Sheffield, UK) 13 out of 15 found this review helpful
When you're in a hurry, you want your apples coring fast, and this excellent corer from KitchenAid won't disappoint. Made from highest quality faux-enamel the grip is firm, and won't slip. The cubic zirconia sharpened corer blade makes short work of any kind of apple you throw at it - even Coxes Orange Pippins don't stand a chance. The KitchenAid Apple corer will even work on pears! Higly recommended.
