There are many festive moments that call for people to raise their glasses and make a toast. At that moment, no one wants to be rummaging around in the refrigerator for a bottle that's been set aside to chill. Having an ice bucket on hand means that the special bottle of wine or champagne will be optimally chilled right when it's needed. The MIU France stainless steel wine/champagne cooler will not only do that job, it'll look great while doing it. An elegant, architectural cylinder of steel, this champagne cooler is formal enough for a wedding gift, yet it wouldn't look out of place on a picnic table, icing down a bottle of Chardonnay for an al fresco summer meal. It rises straight up, curving at the top with a gently contoured lip; the lip helps when the cooler needs to be moved by serving as a grip under which to wrap a linen napkin or dishtowel. The MIU France wine/champagne cooler is made of 18/10 stainless steel, brushed on the inside but with a high-gloss, chromelike polish on the outside. It is dishwasher-safe; when washing by hand, avoid harsh abrasive scrubbers or cleansers in order to preserve the polished finish.
