5 out of 5 stars Fast and easy   September 5, 2008
H. Lee (Fullerton, CA)
I will admit I had some trouble using this at first because I was so impatient to get to my wine. Once I learned to wait for the unit to do its thing, I had to do nothing else. I was so accustomed to having to put in some kind of struggle to get my corks out, I was in a bit of disbelief. Now that I have used this opener a few more times, it has become so easy to operate. Push down on the switch until you hear the cork pop out. Then push up on the switch to get the cork released. Just make sure that before you start, you center the screw to the middle of the cork as much as possible because there is a little bit of wiggle room. This will help prevent your cork from fragmenting on the outer areas, as some people have experienced.

1 out of 5 stars Not Satisfied!   August 31, 2008
T. Rodriguez (Rio Rancho, NM USA)
I've had this product for a year now and I haven't used it much because it's so frustrating to use. I always have to repeat the process because the cork does not come out the first time. You need lessons on the proper way to use it I guess. It's not worth the money! You're better off with the good 'ol cork screw!! It's more reliable!

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RIZ08U6I1VB06 This is my first video review of a product, and the very first time I used this product. It's a simple product to use, and works well.

1 out of 5 stars battery won't hold charge after 5 months   August 27, 2008

Product not for serious wine drinkers does not fit all bottles I have had broken bottles on a couple of occasions. Now the battery won't hold a charge after 5 months. Buy a real corkscrew not a kitchen gadget that waste counter space.

5 out of 5 stars Drink more wine! Execellent Gift item   August 17, 2008

This is the third one that I have purchased. The first one was for my wife and the last two have been gifts for wine loving fiends. This is one of those items that you should buy just for the fun of it! Grab a couple and have them handy for Christmas or House Warming gifts...
