Yeah, it doesn't seal at all. I have no idea why they sell this. Seriously. Go with something more traditional if you want something that works. We though Calphalon would be good, boy were we wrong...

Okay, this looked really cool and I thought I would like the shape of the metal shaker because it would be easier to handle. Wrong! The shape of the shaker causes it not to seal with the glass, and therefore, makes it useless as a boston shaker. I returned it and got a more traditional shaped shaker!

Glass broke second time shaker used. Entire glass base broke away from cylinder. Returned entire item to seller for refund.
