It is not very often that I feel compelled to write a review on a product, but I just received one of these & love it. I used a Boston shaker for years (because that's what I owned), with a cocktail strainer, but it was messy. This really was leak & spill proof (for my 94 proof). I was wondering why no one has thought of this before. Good job Metrokane!

This is the first truly leak proof cocktail shaker I have found. Not only is it well sealed, but it is virtually one hand operation. Just shake up your mixture, and with the same hand you are holding it with, push down and the top flips up for easy pouring. The built in strainer is a great added feature and makes it easy to use with no added tools needed!

We should have heeded warnings from other reviewers. Great concept with the built-in flip top, but the novelty wears off as soon as you shake up a drink and the contents leak out.
