I'm very pleased June 18, 2008 Barbara Leach (Champaign, Illinois United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this slow cooker for my camper, but tried it out at home first. I think I'm going to have to order another for the camper because I'm going to keep this one at home. It holds more than I thought it would. It is a perfect size for us, since it is just my husband and I. It is also the only small one that I found with the different settings. I use the keep warm setting alot. I would like to find a cookbook for it that would modify existing crockpot recipes to use in this size. Until then, I will experiment on my own.
Great Appliance for a Family of Only Two April 18, 2008 J. Garneau (Ellenton, FL United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I use this slow cooker more than any other small appliance. It's great for cooking a meal for two. I often use it to cook beans by soaking my beans, then cooking them overnight. In the morning, they are done and I can add other ingredients to make soup or, often, black beans and rice. The cooker is well worth the price!
Nice size for 1 or 2 April 15, 2008 Cheryl J. Haught (WV) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am enjoying using this little slow cooker. It's great for 2 people. The bigger ones aren't always conveint for a couple. It has been doing a good job for us.
The widow's favorite pot. April 1, 2008 Ann T. Estlund (Ft. Myers, Florida, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I wish I had discovered this small slow cooker when I was first widowed. Cooking seems such a chore for just one person. But with this pot, I can load it in the morning when I'm less likely to be depressed and have a nutritious meal every night for supper. A lifesaver for the woman (or man) who lives alone.
Great little slow cooker! March 15, 2008 M. Britt (Milpitas, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I'm just cooking for myself and didn't have a slow cooker because they where always so big and made much more than I would need for just me. With this little OVAL bugger I've made some great dishes and sure they mostly leave a little left overs but I'm not eatting it for 2 weeks! Love it!
