Product Description The curve of this spatula matches the curve of all KitchenAid standmixer bowls, enabling you to scrape cleanly and completely with minimal effort. Easy to clean, comfy to use, heat-resistant, and coordinated to match your red KitchenAid standmixer, how great is that?
Amazon.com Review This is one spatula you won't find melted up against the side of the stove. Heat resistant to 500 degrees F, it's crafted from a sturdy silicone that won't scratch or scrape nonstick cooking surfaces. The 7-1/2-inch handle allows you to get a good grip, while an elongated, flexible blade makes it easy to scrape the last drop of batter from the flat bottom and deep sides of a typical mixing bowl. (Whatever you do, don't tell the kids you'll be using it; they might just go on strike.) The KitchenAid logo even doubles as a rest, so you can place the spatula up against the rim of a bowl without it sliding into the goo. --Mary Park

| Customer Reviews:
A dependable name, and a very good spatula April 26, 2008 Stephanie Manley (Eau Claire, MI) I love silicon. I have changed out most every spatula that I can for their silicon counterparts. Thank goodness for Kitchenaide, now I can purchase these products at places other than very high end kitchenstores, or at a cookingware party. This has made the formerly very expensive spatula into something more affordable. One thing that sold me on this as compared to the Le Cruset versions is handle is plastic, so it can go into the dishwasher, whereas theirs were wood and you would have to take them apart to wash them because dirt would get into that small space between the handle and the silicon piece. If you haven't tried a silicon spatula you are missing out. You can really use this when frying up eggs, vegetables, or anything else. This really is a multipurpose gadget that you will get many years and many uses from.
