I received this toaster as a gift after going through several 10.00-30.00 types. I LOVE IT! We are a family of 8 so having an appliance that does what it's supposed to do with no nonsense is important to us. This toaster is made of heavy stainless steel with red enamel on each end that looks great with my KitchenAid KV25GOXER Professional 5 Plus 5-Quart Stand Mixer, Empire Redand my Coffee Maker - Programmable - 14 cup - Stainless steel/Red. It is easy to clean with a sturdy crumb tray that easily removes from the front without having to pick the toaster up. Each side is controlled independently from the other which is handy and you don't have to hold the lever down for the 2nd and 3rd sets of toast like the cheap toasters. The Viking VT400BR Professional Bright Red Toaster 4-slice looks beautiful and does a beatiful job though it is a heavy thing and while it is perfect for our large family it might be overkill for a small family with a small kitchen. Happily toasting in Tok, Alaska
