Product Description This all-metal stand mixer comes with a host of accessories - a Flat Beater for cakes and cookies, a Dough Hook for bread and a Wire Whisk for whipped cream or pudding. The 4.5-qt. stainless steel bowl comes with a Pouring Shield that helps prevent splattering while in operation. The pouring shield has a built-in chute for adding ingredients. Powered by 400 watts, the stand mixer has a two-way mixing action to ensure all ingredients are incorporated into the mix. The quick-release, tilt-up head assists when removing the bowl. When you're ready for a kitchen re-do, don't call in the carpenters! Excellent Mixer July 7, 2008 D. Wise (California, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am very happy with this purchase. After reading the reviews on this mixer and the not so great reviews on the different models of Kitchen Aid mixers I decided to purchase the Hamilton Beach. I couldn't see paying more money for a Kitchen Aid. The motor on this mixer is quiet compared to my friend's new Kitchen Aid Artisan. Some may complain that the finish on the this mixer is uneven. It's because it's all done by hand and I think it gives the finish character. It's easy to clean too. Don't be afraid to purchase this mixer, you won't regret it.
Looks good, works great! July 5, 2008 Sabine 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I couldn't look at this mixer before ordering it since all stores where I live sell only KitchenAid or Cuisineart. Reading the bad reviews for mixing bread in an KitchenAid and the good reviews for the Hamilton Beach, I risked it and ordered the Hamilton Beach. The design is great and so far I mixed several times dough for two loaves of sourdough rye bread, 3 baguettes, 3 loaves of ciabatta. The mixer works perfectly. The gluten development is great resulting in wonderful bread. I also used the mixer for cookies and cakes with the same good results. The mixer is easy to use and easy to clean. I hope the 3 year warranty is an indicator, that this mixer will last.

I previously owned a Kitchen Aide mixer which afer a couple of years began leaking. I purchased this mixer and found that it is easier to use than the Kitchen Aide--especially putting in the beaters. It has a sllek appearance and costs much less than the Kitchen Aide. So far, I am very satisfied.
Great mixer, Great price April 27, 2008 S. Vadnais (Burke, VA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I originally intended to purchase the Kitchen Aid mixer. After reading the recent reviews of kitchen Aids product, I wasn't so sure about spending so much money on a questionable product. I have 2 daughters that are on special diets that require wheat-free products. I make almost everything from scratch and my little hand mixer was just not cutting it any more. I am so happy with this purchase. The breads I make are gluten free which makes them actually thicker and stickier than other breads. This mixer whips up a double sized batch with out any problems. I am often surprised that I don't have to scrape the sides! Putting the wet ingredients in first seems to do the trick. My time spent baking has been cut so much. I also like that my kids can help because of the bowl attachment. I no longer worry about their fingers getting caught in the beaters. Clean up is sooo easy I now use the mixer for small jobs like making a pudding or even salad dressing. I use this about 4 days a week so I love the 5 year warranty. It stays on my counter and I love that it fits well even with the head tilted up. Great product!! Worth every penny

Product works well. Doesn't take up too much counter space. Sleek design holds attachments well. Motor is quiet running.
