The performance of this item was a little disappointing. Making milkshakes isn't as quick and effortless as I would have hoped. We routinely have to stir up the contents of the cup to get all the chunks of ice cream broken up. And they usually just stick to the shaft of the mixer. If given the choice again, would not purchase this item.

I like having the milkshake maker. It came in the mail fine and all, but the safety on it really makes it difficult to get the mixer to the top of the glass to mix it well without making the drink too runny. I work around the safety , but this guarantees a bit of a mess.

Strong motor but...I found with hard ice cream the small mixer head would not move ice cream around and mix it. What would help if the operator would have the ability to remove the cup from the top clip and the motor still run. This would allow you to move the cup to trap the ice cream and mix it better. I use to mix counter milkshakes and that was an advantage.
The mixer is beautiful, heavy and very strong.
