told me what I needed to know May 31, 2008 Barbara J. Posten 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
With a new convection oven, I needed the basics for cooking in it. This book informed me well on containers and temperatures, and how the oven works. Will try more recipes.

My cookbook arrived in a very timely manner. I haven't really made any recipes using the cookbook yet but it seems to be full of great recipe ideas.
FINALLY A RECIPE BOOK TO HELP WITH CONVECTION BAKING !! April 23, 2008 R. T. Roth (Louisiana) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
BEEN SEARCHING FOR A GOOD CONVECTION OVEN COOKBOOK FOR QUITE SOME TIME NOW. THIS ONE HAS SIMPLE RECIPES THAT ARE EASY TO FOLLOW, AND AS I'M A VISUAL PERSON, I LOVE THE PICTURES CONTAINED ON MANY OF THE RECIPES.
Happy reader needs help November 18, 2007 Elizabeth Ash (Cleveland, OH USA) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
This is a very good cookbook for the convection oven and I'm coming to rely on it as I negotiate the sometimes confusing world of convection cooking. I have a question though that maybe another reviewer might be able to answer. The rule for convection baking is "cut 25 degrees off the oven temp." My oven does this automatically. What I'd like to know is: Are the recipes in the cookbook adjusted down already or do I just enter whatever the recipe calls for and let my oven's adjustment make it all correct? I have gone through the book pretty carefully -- as has my husband -- and we can't find the answer to this rather obvious question. Perhaps the author could help?
You paid $$$$ for a convection oven to make these recipes October 24, 2007 C. Walker 19 out of 22 found this review helpful
I bought a convection oven to step up my culinary skills and this book has the recipes that take advantage of my $2K investment in cooking hardware. These recipes are not designed for the beginning cook, or the family who eats junk food (though a convection oven might make fish sticks and frozen pizza better on whatever scale you would rate fish sticks and frozen pizza.) There aren't a lot of pictures or helpful tips on how to properly chop onions or turn on your oven. If you have good basic cooking skills and semi-gourmet taste, buy this book.
