Product Description Bake brownies, mac and cheese or chicken in your toaster oven with this deep pan. Clean up is a snap thanks to the non-stick interior.
Amazon.com Review If you're only baking a few cinnamon rolls or brownies, a little cake or cornbread, or roasting a small pork butt or vegetables for two, hauling out a big baking or roasting pan seems such a waste. This little pan delivers for one- or two-person households while taking up negligible space in the pan drawer. Its nonstick surface means that macaroni and cheese, moussaka, and other casserole dishes can be easily removed. While not as heavy as first-rate roasting pans, it's not flimsy, either. A grad student or CEO who occasionally cooks at home will find this pan fits many needs. --Fred Brack

Newly purchased - as expected December 24, 2007 Marketing Mom It hasn't stood the test of time but we are pleased that the pan performs as promised.
Dependable toaster oven baking pan August 10, 2007 Henry Perkins (Santa Clara, CA USA) I was without a regular oven for over 3 months while remodeling my kitchen, and learned a lot about toaster oven cooking in that time. This NordicWare pan works very well for baking half a cake mix at a time. After 7 mixes (14 uses) and a couple of small lasagnas it's still in great shape. I used butter flavor Crisco to grease the pan for each cake, only nylon spatulas to remove the food, and nothing but a soft sponge and soapy water to clean the pan. (I *definitely* didn't use any of those incredibly abrasive Scotch-Brite sponges.) After reading other reviews I was worried about durability and was extra cautious. In any event this little pan is still good as new. I'm probably going to continue to use it during the hot summer months so I don't needlessly heat up my kitchen. I've got a couple of toaster oven cooking tips that may be generally helpful. If your toaster oven is like mine (an *original* Black & Decker TRO -- from before they had model numbers) there's a stamped sheet steel bottom flap that crumbs, melted cheese, and whatever falls down on. You can improve both the evenness of heating and ease of cleaning by opening this flap up and scouring it to a high shine with steel wool. Then crumbs and even baked-on cheese will brush off easily without scraping. I did this several years ago, and haven't needed anything other than a damp sponge to get the crumb flap spotless since. If you do the same sort of scouring on your aluminum baking tray you can cook (half) pizzas there and the cleanup is pretty easy, too. I got through my kitchen remodel with a hot plate, toaster oven, and electric tea kettle, and wasn't greatly inconvenienced. This NordicWare pan helped get me through it. Recommended.
Toaster Oven Casserole Pan September 29, 2005 S. Kay Keller (Bainbridge, Ga USA) 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
This is an excellent pan to use in the toaster oven to cook meats, small casseroles, etc. I use it to oven fry chicken, or steaks. It is the perfect size to bake chicken breasts, stew beef for two, or meat and vegetables. The non-stick surface cleans well. This is my second one, and I use it practically every day. The price was extremely reasonable and the product will last a long time.
Non-stick coating peels again October 17, 2004 Wheaten Terrier Mom (Michigan) 19 out of 19 found this review helpful
My widowed mother-in-law badly needed a pan to use in her toaster oven and was delighted when I found this little Nordic Ware casserole pan; it was the perfect size. Within a month, however, the black non-stick coating began to peel in dime-size circles. She never puts anything in her dishwasher and is a diligent rule-follower -- I know this was not something she caused. I have no doubt Bed, Bath & Beyond will replace it, but it doesn't look like there are any other choices. I would much prefer to buy her something heavier and well made without a non-stick coating. We'll see. Customers, be forewarned....Nordic Ware, hopefully you are addressing what appears to be a problem!
Very good buy! July 28, 2002 21 out of 22 found this review helpful
I purchased this baking pan approximately 5 years ago and it is still as good as the day it arrived. Nice solid piece, very good price. Definately worth the money. Cleaning advice, keep it out of the dishwasher and it keeps the non-stick surface from flaking and/or peeling.
