The oven selector allows you to use just the top rack, just the bottom rack, or both. It even has a Bagel Best option which activates just the middle heating element - and that means your cut side gets toasted while the exterior gets warm. With all these options you can bake, toast, and reheat or warm foods. The time also has a Bagel Best option, as well as timing for up to 15 minutes. Unlike toasters this unit can accommodate really thick breads and pastries, yet its small footprint won't take up more space than a toaster.

With the high expense of electricity, it can be costly to turn on a full-size oven for quick toasting and browning tasks. This toaster oven is a simple answer to keep electrical costs down. Use it for toasting bagels that don't always fit in a conventional toaster, or for melting cheese over a favorite sandwich. It can even be used for browning the tops of individual meringue tarts. Standing 13 inches high by 9 inches wide by 8-1/2 inches deep (including the handles), it obviously doesn't require too much counter space. It lets you select the specific elements--there are three: bottom, middle, and top--needed for a particular task. The oven also comes with a 15-minute safety auto shut-off, which is helpful for the busy and easily distracted teenager who maybe preparing their own after school snack. I had the smaller brother to this model for years until I accidentally burned it up. This model is bigger than the 5W, but just as good. It gives you lots of room to toast the big items with ease. The hardest part for me it relearning the timer settings. I highly recommend this toaster over any other conventional toaster. You will love it....

We got this toaster oven a year ago, so far really happy with it. As other reviewers mentioned, it does not toast 4 slices of bread. 3 max.
And there are other things it can't do like roast a chicken or make brownies. This is a simple , well made toaster- it does what it is advertised to do very well
(though you do have to be on top of it and keep an eye on your toast). The best part is, it takes up no space. So for us, who live in a studio with a kitchenette, it has turned out to be the perfect toaster. The little trays it comes with are great for melting cheese, making hot sandwiches, and i even roast red peppers in it sometimes. Highly recommended for people who like toast and have little to no counter space.

I purchased this little toaster to make cinnamon toast, rather than heating up my oven. It is small and take up little space on my counter. I have mine positioned next to the coffee maker. Someone before me mentioned the limits this toaster has and that is a fact I can attest to. If you want something to toast bread, bagels, or heat up rolls, this toaster is perfect for very small amounts. If you were going to try to cook something in this toaster, i think it might be better if it were not frozen and thawed prior placing in the toaster. In addition, what ever you place in this toaster, it better be small. I would say it is perfect for one person to make treats. This is a great toaster for my cinnamon toast addiction. I would not want to do much more with it. You could probably use it to toast nuts too, but I have not tested this yet. I plan to also make cheese toast with this little baby soon too.
