Cooking breakfast for a crowd? This huge 10-1/2-by-20-1/2-inch griddle can handle French toast, hash brown potatoes, and sausages all at once, without requiring you to dirty several pans. The griddle isn't limited to breakfast either--it grills up plenty of hot dogs, hamburgers, or grilled cheeses for a kid's birthday party or serves as a warmer for adult buffet-style entertaining. The heat control ranges from 200 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (in 50-degree increments) and automatically maintains the proper heat setting so foods cook at the same rate as they would on the stove but in a more energy-efficient manner than a range or oven. The griddle's surface is made of heavy cast-iron aluminum, which heats evenly and is resistant to warping. The nonstick surface ensures that food lifts off the griddle effortlessly and that cleanup is easy. A built-in ledge around the entire griddle surface provides a backstop for flipping pancakes or eggs, and a drip tray beneath the griddle catches grease from bacon or other meats and slides out easily for emptying. I received this griddle last week. I had looked at one at Williams Sonoma that was over $100, but ordered this one because of the reviews on amazon, not to mention the price. The first time I used it was on Sunday morning which is risky because we leave with our four young children for church by 8:30. I began cooking at 7am, made bacon and fried eggs, it was all cooked, eaten and cleaned up by 7:35! What a time saver! I almost never cook on Sunday mornings because it takes so long to cook bacon and eggs for six in a skillet and then even longer to clean up from it. I have since made Alton Brown's belly buster burgers and pancakes on it and it has handled all beautifully. We have a custom outdoor kitchen and I think the burgers were better off of this griddle (but don't tell my hubby that!). I set it up on my (turned off) stove and use my hood-a-vent. For the price, this would even make a great gift to someone with a large family.

I love the way it catches all the grease for the bacon. Because of the tilt though, I have to prop up the back side of the griddle to make it even for pancakes. So...there could be a little improvement of having a little kick stand or something to prop up the sides but it serves its purpose.

This is a wonderful product. It is very large and ample and heats very uniformly. We use it to prepare an entire meal and it now sits on my glass stove top as we use it more than the stove itself!

I bought this for my Mom and she loves it. It has even heating and is easy to clean. She has made pancakes and french toast on a weekly basis since I gave her this gift. A great buy for a super price. You can't beat it!
