I got these as a little add on to get my total to $25 bucks to get free shipping, and man am I glad I did. These are not only beautiful looking measuring spoons, but they feel great in your hands. They have wide handles and are very sturdy. I used to use the cheap plastic ones, too.
Go ahead, spend the 8 bucks or whatever it is to get these, and you will look forward to measuring that 1/4 tsp. of salt with the spoon instead of a pinch!

I looked at several other measuring spoons before deciding on these made by Calphalon.
They are solidly made with a wide handle that is not flimsy or uncomfortable but are a little heavier then other brands. However, it is precisely this solid construction that makes them durable and easy to hold.

These are the heaviest most rugged spoons I have ever encountered. As they were a premium to on my order the superior quality was not expected. A person is going to have to take extra effort in order to damage the set.
