When it's made fresh and served hot, it's truly a delicious treat. Cuisinart reintroduces the Classic Round Waffle Maker so you can enjoy preparing it as well as eating it. Stick Free Plates - Waffles remove easily Easy to clean AV Power Cord wraps under unit for convenient storage Includes Instruction Book and Recipes 3-Year Limited Warranty
Amazon.com Review Cooking Sunday breakfast for one or two becomes a pleasurable task with this compact waffle maker. Red and green lights indicate when to add batter and when the 7-inch round waffle is done. A regulating thermostat and a five-setting control produce waffles perfectly browned to personal preference. With a brushed stainless-steel exterior and sleek design, the waffle maker looks elegant in any kitchen and stores upright in compact spaces. The nonstick round plate is divided into four quarters and wipes clean easily. This classic waffle maker measures 8 by 9-1/2 by 3 inches, and comes with a three-year warranty against defects. --Ann Bieri

Not vey well made. July 20, 2008 June Bug (Danville, California) The dial for for how well done you want your waffel broke off the first time I cleaned it. Very cheap piece of plastic.
classic waffle iron July 11, 2008 C. Pittman (Delaware, oh) I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of a Cuisinart Classic Waffle Iron. This little gem is great, compact, and can be stored vertically or horizontally. The price was great also, on sale for $30 but regularly $50. This waffle iron makes regular waffles, not the deeply indented Belgian waffles which I do not care for. Homemade is definitely better than any frozen waffle on the market, and you can adjust the setting to whether you prefer a firmer waffle or one that is just lightly browned.
Waffling June 28, 2008 Dan Barron (Ventura County, California) This is a fine product (at least initially). We've used it twice and find it to satisfy our needs.
Lasted a Month June 23, 2008 S. O'Rourke This seems to be a product people either love or hate. Put me down in the deeply disappointed column. I could live with the very loose and wiggly hinge because even the best appliances can have their quirks. However, the five temperature setting was a joke since the control had enough play in it to swing between two settings without meeting any resistance. There was no way of telling whether it was, for instance, on setting 3 or 4. Also, my definition of non-stick is that the waffle doesn't stick to the appliance once it's done cooking. I had to pry every single waffle out of this iron, no exceptions; the only difference was the number of pieces the waffle would end up being by the end of the process. Only with generous applications of spray oil every two or three uses could I hope to get a whole waffle at once. The final straw was when I was using this waffle maker for the fourth time (Sundays are waffle day around here) -- the knob to the temperature control fell off and the lever it attached to retreated to the inside of the appliance. That resulted in a three point toss across the kitchen with nothing but net into the trash. It appears from the reviews that the quality of this piece can be wildly divergent. It either works to perfection or it isn't worth a plugged nickle. I gambled my $$ and hoped I would get a good one; I didn't. If you aren't in a position to waste money, save the cash you would have spent on this and wait until you've got enough to get a good quality appliance.
Best waffle maker of this kind June 9, 2008 J. Smith Bought this same unit 15 years ago. When the top part of the unit failed, wanted this same model because it cooked perfectly for a long time. It's not quite as heavy or sturdy as the original but heats quickly, cooks perfectly for all done-ness preferences - soft and chewy or crunchy.
