Amazon.com Review
This nifty little nonstick oven liner could save hours of scrubbing over the life of your oven. Every time a casserole bubbles over or cheese melts off a pizza, this coated fiberglass mat catches the spill before it burns onto the cooking surface. Simply remove to clean; baked-on foods wipe off easily or rinse free in your dishwasher, freeing you from the need to scour or inhale toxic oven cleaner fumes. The liner comes in a standard 30-inch size but can be trimmed to fit smaller ovens. It lasts for years without losing its nonstick qualities. --Mary Park

Product Description
Think about the bottom of your oven for a second. Recall the mac and cheese that bubbled over, the butter that seeped out of your springform pan, the chocolate chip cookie that fell off the sheet. If you had put the Tefmat in the bottom of your oven before cooking all you would need to in order to remove those unsightly stains is pull out the Tefmat. Then toss the Tefmat in the dishwasher or hand wash. Now doesn't that beat scrubbing, oven cleaner fumes and so on?

2 out of 5 stars not what it shows in the picture   April 27, 2008

As you can see in the photo, this matt is shown being placed on the bottom of your oven to catch spills but when you read the directions that come with the product, it states to place it on the bottom rack and not directly on the bottom of the oven.

5 out of 5 stars Oven clean up a breeze!   December 16, 2007

This product works great - just as described on the package. Really cleans up with warm soapy water! I have bought one for my best friend and my mom.

I, too, was so looking forward to eliminating foil liners. Unfortunately, after a very short time I noticed several holes developing. Although it washes up very nicely, the holes get larger with each clean-up. This is a waste of $25. Back to elbow grease or foil.

This product changes the heat reflection inside the oven creating hot and cool spots. I had to stop using it after the first use.

1 out of 5 stars Fire hazard - Unsafe product   August 28, 2007

I bought this product for my Mother last month after she saw one at her friend's home. In the beginning, she was very pleased with it. However, she was baking an apple pie yesterday at 375 degrees and a small amount of filling dripped on the liner and burned a hole completely through it. The entire liner then started to smoke and curled up and warped over a large area around where the pie filling dripped. Once the liner cooled and cleaned up, it's now cracking and falling apart. Seems like a poor quality product and dangerous as well. Especially if at risk to catch on fire.
