Product Description Sanyo's convection oven combines the best of powerful convection cooking, baking and toasting with a stylish, stainless steel design. The convection oven features full-width heaters on top and bottom and twin convection inlets for rapid and even heat distribution. It keeps track of the cooking progress with its 40-minute digital timer and lighted countdown indicators. Use it to cook meat and poultry dishes, bake pies and casseroles, toast up to four slices of bread at once and reheat leftovers. The width of the opening is 10-in. wide - large enough to hold a 10-in. pizza or a 9-in. pie. The panel on front offers one-touch toasting for heating one, two or three-to-four slices of bread for perfect browning every time. It even allows for bread that's frozen. The temperature ranges from 180- to 470-degrees F for precise baking. For easier access to hot baking sheets or pie pans, the oven's rack automatically slides out when the door is opened; remove the oven rack completely for easy cleaning. Included with your Sanyo convection oven is a nonstick oven tray and crumb tray and an English/Spanish instruction manual with recipes.

new to convection ovens May 9, 2008 S.K. (Miami Beach, FL) I have never used a convection oven and I am really surprised how fast it cooked. I cooked a half a chicken in about 15 minutes. Truly amazing! This product also makes perfect toast and Eggo waffles. If it ever comes back as a lightening deal again, grab it!
Serves our purposes May 8, 2008 R. F. Lax So far, we've been very satisfied with this oven. We use it for toasting and for baking potatoes. It's done a fine job with those tasks, and it doesn't take up too much counter space.
A toaster oven that toasts May 5, 2008 John Middlesworth This oven makes good toast, quickly. The fan is quiet and the timer works quite well. I'd prefer having a "broil" option, and the 5 preset temps are 180, 250, 320, 400, and 470, with nothing in between (how about having 350--surely the most common temp for baking). Still, it's an attractive and quick appliance.

I'm impressed with the time it takes to cook most frozen foods. With this baby, I just put in half the suggested time on the cooking instructions, and its done. The oven looks top notch as well with brushed metal exterior. I definitely recommend this products, looks and works great. Only drawbacks I thought were: Set oven temperatures. You have 5 to choose from, for the most part, it seems all I need. The beeping sound when your food is done... it sounds very similar to a fire alarm beep. Toast doesn't toast evenly. Fortunately, I don't plan to use it for toast. Cooking say chicken wings are perfect. The space is small in the back of the oven.. the roof of the oven slants down, giving only a couple of inches in the back.
Almost a winner April 29, 2008 T. Miller (Houston, TX) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
In regards to cooking and user friendly controls, the toaster oven is great. However I am disappointed with two things about it. The first and biggest disappointed is the apparent manufactures defect regarding the ovens door. The door falls off on the left (Looking at the toaster) side of the oven. There is a lot of "wiggle room" for the door and if you move it to the right just enough, the door pin falls out of the hinge. Granted, I could "rig" it to correct the problem but this is not a $20 toaster oven. The second issue which was more my fault is the size. For example, it will fit a personal pan pizza (For one person) max. It looks bigger in the picture then it really is. So make sure you note the measurements before you buy. I actually down graded in size and found out I couldnt cook everything I could before. The toaster cooked excellent but I cant recommend though due to the door hinge issue. If that weren't a problem, it would be a great compact toaster oven.
