Great space saver and baker July 3, 2008 Michael Smith (St. Louis, Mo.) Great size,,makes most size pizzas...Checked temp control with a thermostat and it is right on.....Nice size for counter tops...Great looking...Display panel looks good and is easy to read,,but could be a little bit brighter.....Used it a lot this first month and have no complaints.....Have not tried it out as a toaster since i have a pretty good toaster already.....
Don't buy this item January 8, 2008 C. Partlow (USA) 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
First of all, this product doesn't come with a manual and take longer than our toaster oven we were trying to replace. Were returning it.
Not horrible, but not so great either December 9, 2007 Pooky 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I was really excited about this toaster oven because of its looks and so many features (mainly the convection oven). I received one and the lights didn't work on the button panal, and Oster sent me a replacement - NO PROBLEM. I was very impressed with their customer service. Then, the second had a similar problem, but I didn't want to send it back AGAIN, so I kept it. The clock doesn't keep the right time, the buttons are very cheap, and ALL of my bread comes out soggy. I cook my potatoes with the convection feature, but it really takes just as long as my normal oven. My old toaster oven turned out the best bread, but I have never been able to do that with this oven; not with the broil feature, toast or regular oven. All-in-all, I kind of miss my cheap one, that was a LOT smaller (and cheaper). This model is OK, but I definitely don't feel that it lived up to the hype.
easy toaster oven November 27, 2007 turtle's mom (Washington Metro Area) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Replacing a 5-year old oven where the dial was sticking (no shut-off), this one came up. We are so pleased with the looks and ease of use. Barely had to read the instructions. does a very nice job with toasting, warming, cooking, etc. Nice price, too.
Better than the last one!! July 23, 2007 ebabler (Ridgefield, CT USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
We have only had this oven for about 2 months, but so far, so good!! I bought it because it had a pretty good review on Amazon. It replaced a previous Oster that totally quit doing anything but "toasting", and NOT WELL, after only about 2 years!! I have baked in it, but nothing like brownies, etc. It does small pizzas well. I also have not used the Convection feature much, but the instruction book does not tell you much about convection, and I am not familiar with it. For 40 years, we have had a "toaster oven"! Never a toaster!! And I have come to rely on them! But the cheaper ones are NOW a piece of junk!! I wanted the toast/bake/broil feature, and this one did that for under $100 dollars. It's quite a bit bigger than the regular toaster ovens, so if you don't have the space, it's not for you!! Toasting takes a bit longer, but is even, and worth the wait. If you just want to "Toast", this is not for you!! Get a toaster!! But if you want the other features, esp. in the hot summer months, for baking without heating the big oven, consider it!!
