BIG DISAPPOINTMENT August 9, 2008 Ms. Sheila Schweit (Sherman Oaks, Ca) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I owned a Delonghi before and it died of old age. I loved it and decided to get this one. 1. Description says it's red; it's black; 2. It only goes up to 390 degrees for baking; 3. The broiler pan doesn't sit on the rack; it has it's own slot. However, broiling time is greater than my last one; fat on steak never even sizzled. When you attempt to remove the broiling pan, as it isn't resting on anything, it tilts when you take it out and it could drop and injure someone, or if using a pot holder, it could catch fire; 4. I made toast and had to put it through twice and it burned part and the rest wasn't toasted. It is now being made in China and as with most things from there, it is very inferior. Too bad.
DeLonghi Convection Toaster Oven July 21, 2008 Lori Gedon (Norwood, NJ USA) This is the third DeLonghi product I have purchased - the other two were an ice cream maker and a deep fat fryer - and I am pleased with the quality of the convection toaster oven as I was with the other purchases I made. However, there's no timer on the appliance so you have to use your kitchen timer when baking or broiling. It also takes a long time to toast. I have not used the rotisserie feature yet, so can't comment about that.
DeLonghi Convection Toaster June 25, 2008 M. Michael (DC) DeLonghi RO2058 6-Slice Convection Toaster Oven with Rotisserie The toaster takes twice along as my last Convection Toaster Oven! I had it 4 months abn it completely stopped working! I have to pay the postage to have it repaired and it will take 4-6 weeks! Do not buy this product!
Really as described and more June 21, 2008 joy L (Lomita, Ca.) The product was more than expected with many features. Is a multi use appliance that can eliminate duplicates on kitchen counter space. Looks good and is easy to use. Like the light on the inside and the best bonus is the rotisserie. Lots of space inside!
It's a WINNER May 31, 2008 Beach Bound (Ocean Pines, MD USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My last rotisserie toaster oven failed miserably compared to the DeLonghi. The rotisserie is neat and compact, there are several levels for racks within the oven, and it even makes toast. Toasting in these ovens takes additional time than a standard toaster, but DeLonghi's controls permit you to set the range of darkness, and it works. I'm looking forward to a long relationship with my new appliance.
