nice microwave October 3, 2008 Donna Turner (Decatur, TX) This microwave arrived very quickly and my Mother is very pleased with the appearance and size. The only draw back is the 800Watts. We thought it would be enough to heat water in 1 minute but it takes almost 2 minutes.
poor quality September 14, 2008 David Zimmerman (California) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This microwave is very poorly designed with very poor low end quality materials. No bargain considering the same microwave can be purchased at most local appliance stores for the same pricing. The time digital readout is very poorly illuminated. Very light in weight. No padding or footing for counter top placement with scratching of counter top quite possible. Not user friendly in changing power settings. May be good for heating water but thats about it...... I would highly suggest saving the time and subsequent frustrations by avoiding this model unless you actually see one at a store. Buyer beware is the word for this one.
Beware the sticker that wont come off!!!! September 11, 2008 V. J. Catalano Jr. The mic is quite ok. The problem was that the unit had a product sticker o nthe plastic door that when removed left the adheisive on the plastic. it would not come off with soap and water, cleaner, anything. Ultimately it had to be scrubbed so damned hard that there are now scratches on the door of my nice new microwave.
SMALL BUT NICE.... August 30, 2008 HYATT (CENTRALHATCHEE) THIS IS IDEAL FOR AN OFFICE OR DORM, BUT NOT LARGE ENOUGH FOR A HOME W/ A FAMILY...EXCELLENT PRICE AND GOOD QUALITY....EASY TO OPERATE!
Very good microwave for the price August 6, 2008 Fishing Fool It's a nice size for an apartment or college dorm. It's slightly bigger than the smallest microwaves out there. For the most part it's a guood buy at this price. It has stainless steel front panels. The two things I didn't like about this unit is the door is pretty loud when you close it. Also the LCD is not backlit so you need to turn on the light to see the time. Also when you open the door the inside of the microwave does not light up. It only lights up during heating. The carousel is not noisy like some of the reviewers say. You need to correctly align the carousel plate with the three rollers.
