Product Description
Low fat cooking with tasty results. Cooking meals in a conventional oven can add unnecessary fat to your favorite meals. By switching to rotisserie ovens, millions of people have reduced the fat in their diets while also enjoying great tasting food. A rotisserie oven seals in food's natural juices while cooking. Now many rotisseries are also very energy efficient, cooking food in far less time than a conventional oven. No wonder the top manufacturer of rotisserie ovens has sold more than three million units over the last several years. Suitable for either a two-person dinner or a larger group meal such as a turkey, these ovens are remarkably versatile. Meats and vegetables are particularly suited to rotisserie cooking and the recipes range from the traditional to the sophisticated: - Lemon-Thyme Roasted Chicken
- Warm Mushroom Salad in Mustard Vinaigrette
- Chinese Glazed Duck
- Rosemary-Mustard Coated Roast Beef
- Spicy Mexican Snapper
- South-Western Style Ribs.
Everything from workweek meals to dinner parties will be a snap and guests and families will marvel at the mouth-watering dishes cooked to perfection every time. Also included is useful information about the basics of rotisserie cooking, as well as numerous cooking tips and techniques.

Recipes lengthy and require unusual ingrediets October 6, 2008 B. Sweda (St Petersburg, FL) This cookbook has interesting recipes for my new rotisserie, but many appear to have ingredients I just don't have on my shelves, and I cook a lot of unusual dishes. Also, I was looking for quicker menus to put together, after all, it isn't just for my health that I wanted my rotisserie. There seems to be a lot of prep time for many recipes. I will use the book for some things, but "The Ultimate Rotisserie Cookbook" is more to my liking.
pretty good August 21, 2008 T. Funk (Moose Jaw, Sask,Canada) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really like this book. I have owned a rotisserie oven for a few years, this book gives me new ideas of using the oven. It includes recipes for chicken, turkey, beef roast, pork roast, and RIBS (p.115to 120, 4 recipes, not quite sure why the other customer said it doesn't)
Where's the ribs? March 12, 2007 Nellie Bly (OKC) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
Ribs, either pork or beef, were not covered in this book. I needed a timetable for ribs as well as some marinades.
