Amazon.com Review Big enough to hold a 10-pound turkey, two chickens, six kebabs, six beef or fish steaks, or a family-size portion of french fries, yet compact enough to fit on any kitchen counter, this rotisserie brings the advantages of rotational cooking into the home. The 1,100-watt appliance measures just 18 inches wide, 12-1/2 inches high, and 12-1/2 inches deep, and its spits are 9-1/4 inches long. The spits are one of four cooking methods provided by the rotisserie. There's a round basket for roasting vegetables and "dry-frying" potatoes (fresh or frozen) in the low-fat method for which George Foreman appliances are famous. A flat basket measuring 8-1/4 inches long, 7-1/2 inches wide, and 2-1/2 inches deep adjusts to hold foods like fish, steaks, and vegetables flat for grilling as they rotate. Finally, six skewers fit into the rotisserie for kebabs and pork ribs. Other features include a lift-up cover with a window, a three-hour timer, and a pullout drip tray. The rotisserie has a metal-and-plastic exterior and a metal interior for easy cleaning. It carries a one-year warranty against defects and comes with a cooking time chart and recipes. --Fred Brack

Great Rotisserie! Makes Excellent Roast Chicken!!!!!!!!! June 17, 2008 Daquan13 (East Boston, MA.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This baby has been in use by me for almost 7 years, and continues to perform very well. As good as when it was brand new!!! This unit helps make food taste ten times better!! The powerful little motor for the rotisserie does a great job in keep the heat evenly distributed with help cook food to luscious perfection!! But the thing that I like to cook most in it is mouth-watering tender juicy roast chicken after it has been marinated with dry rub! Scrumpcious!!! It comes out with crispy dry luscious golden skin on the outside, with tender moist juicy meat inside!!! Comes with all of the attachments you see pictured. ~Daquan13.
Buy it! February 6, 2008 K. Leonard 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
When cooking for just one or two, this gets heavy use in our house. We use this at least weekly, particularly the flat basket, for steaks, chicken and chops. Cleans up easily if you rub a little oil on the flat basket before cooking. This, the coffee pot and my vacuum sealer are the only 3 appliances allowed on the counter top at all times - even the toaster is stored.
excellent so far December 13, 2007 JJT (Pryor, OK United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Have cooked 3 roasts, 2 steaks, 6 kabobs, 5 cornish hens and 1 - 9 lb. turkey. I used the old fashioned metal things to keep the turkey together. Worked pretty good. A few adjustments. All came out good. 3 Cornish hens does not work too well, 2 come out fantastic. As stated before, the cooking times in the book are about 5-10 minutes too long for my preferences. Love this product as of this date. Have had it almost a month.
I hope it dont break ! November 13, 2007 R. Beaty (Bowling Green, Ky) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought a baby george last year and i loved it. It makes the best chicken and pork loin youll ever have. After about 20-25 uses the motor went out. man was i upset , I had to finish cooking my meal in the oven. Most chicken you find are either going to be right under or right over 5 lbs. Regardless it broke and I threw it away. So this year I decided to buy another one. So im happy again and eating good. The george jr is rated for upto a 10 lb turkey. However I think im going to try to limit the weight to around 6 to 7 lbs. I dont want to burn out another motor. I would also suggest that when you put the meat in the oven, slide the bar to the right and make sure the gears are making good contact with each other. It cleans easy, it looks good, and your dinner will be tender and juicy. MMMMmmmmmm !!!
Very charming and not bulky October 8, 2007 JD (NY, NY) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
