This platter is, of course, egg shaped--and it has 12 egg-shaped hollows in which to place the whole or cut hard-boiled eggs. Otherwise the plate is completely plain except for a very slight rim around the edge. It can be used in the microwave or oven, and cleaned up in the dishwasher. --Richard Farr

My Wife loves to make deviled eggs, but she hated to have to set them out on just a plate where they would slide around and get somewhat messy. This holder is both elegant and functional, we use it on the dinner table and even for picnics. It is a great addition to our serving plates. I would recommend it to any who is serious about making deviled eggs.

When you make deviled eggs, they need a nice place to sit in for serving. This is perfect and I like the "egg" shape. My aunt was very impressed when I served smoked salmon deviled eggs in this dish at a party. She said the recipe was a keeper and I was so pleased since she is a deviled egg expert! The eggs sat nicely and didn't fall over. You can easily fit this into the refrigerator and carry it to a party. ~The Rebecca Review
