The Super Toasty toaster lets you brown bagels perfectly every time: placed cut-side down, the bagels' thicker tops warm from the top while the cut sides crisp and brown more deeply. Use the top rack for melting cheese on open-faced sandwiches or broiling the tops of mini pizzas. Use the bottom rack for reheating or keeping food warm. For timing your foods, the Super Toasty oven comes with a 15-minute bell and an auto shutoff. For easy access, the racks with metal trays slide out when the door is opened. The Sanyo toaster oven comes with a removable crumb tray and a cord storage holder.

With the high expense of electricity, it can be costly to turn on a full-size oven for quick toasting and browning tasks. This toaster oven is a simple answer to keep electrical costs down. Use it for toasting bagels that don't always fit in a conventional toaster, or for melting cheese over a favorite sandwich. It can even be used for browning the tops of individual meringue tarts. Standing 13 inches high by 9 inches wide by 8-1/2 inches deep (including the handles), it obviously doesn't require too much counter space. It lets you select the specific elements--there are three: bottom, middle, and top--needed for a particular task. The oven also comes with a 15-minute safety auto shut-off, which is helpful for the busy and easily distracted teenager who maybe preparing their own after school snack. This toaster oven has plenty of rom and does just about everything in the way of toasting and/or baking. It is small enough to be stored away and yet takes up little counter space when in use. It can cook on one or two shelves and gives a ringing sound when it has completed its job. It is ideal for a kitcheen with little counter space and for use in the office. It has two shelves and two separate toasting/baking ranges. It even has a cooking timer that "rings" when its job is done.

SANYO SK7S-ST/TOASTER-OVEN/BAGEL/2STORYI owned this toaster for over ten years and it was beginning to look "old". I was delighted to find it was still being made and purchased this new one in chrome color rather than the white I had before. It's absolutely beautiful. I especially like the size and the fact that it stands vertically, taking up much less space on my too-small counter. It not only toasts bagels and regular bread, but it can't be beat for warming pizza with a crispy crust.

In looking for a space saving toaster oven in stores, it was impossible to locate something that was affordable. A quick search on Amazon yielded this little beauty, and I was quick to scoop it up since no outside store seems to carry it. I was impressed right out of the box. The size is amazingly compact, yet it packs a punch when heating up pizza, sandwiches, french fries, even chicken nuggets that the kids love. The fact that it does not have a heat control has not negatively affected performance, since the three toast settings of light, medium and dark are fine for the average bagel and then the longer times can be used for the items mentioned above. It takes a bit of getting used to in terms of the top and bottom heating rack, you have to remember to always use the top tray for toast if you want both sides toasty, and even still one side is always a bit less browned, but I am for the most part thrilled with this little appliance and highly recommend it for anyone looking to neaten up their kitchen counter tops, or for students in dorms, studio apartments, or offices. Very well worth the money. I hope it lasts a long time.

We received the smaller version of this toaster oven as a wedding gift 19 years ago. We used it almost every day, and it still works great. But over a couple decades, the white finish yellowed and the inside of the glass got some scorched-on stains from stuff we left in too long. For several years, I've tried to find another, but couldn't. I had assumed they had quit making them
Recently, I tried again and found this one. It's a little larger, but still fits in roughly the same space. The ticking of the timer is a little noisier than the older model, but I like the Bagel Best setting that lets you toast only the cut side of a bagel. Acts well as a mini-broiler, too. Personally, I like the stainless steel finish better than the white.
It's an unusual design, but one to which we've become quite accustomed. I'm very happy to have found it.

This is the best toaster oven we have ever had. I am so glad I found it on Amazon. It makes great toast, better than the expensive DeLonghi we returned after trying this one. I hope they make it forever, cuz when it dies I want to replace it with another just like it. It takes up very little counter space, doesn't get real hot on the outside, is really easy to clean. Just a great product. I wonder why they don't sell these in stores?
