Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Review
Utility ladders should make work easier, and this three-step ladder from Polder delivers on that philosophy, in both lightweight structure and ease of use. It's also super stable, with safety-minded detailing. At just 6.2 pounds, the anodized aluminum alloy unit is easy to carry, even up and down stairs. It unfolds securely into position and locks at the side hinges. The top step measures 31 inches high, while the handrail reaches 51 inches when the ladder is in its foldout position. Ridged for a nonslip design, the steps are comfortably spaced and measure a generous 2-3/4 inches deep. The top step is notable for its double-width design, providing a total of 6 inches of standing room. The ladder rests on four nonslip, nonconductive plastic feet and holds up to 225 pounds. --Emily Bedard

5 out of 5 stars Polder Featherweight ladder   August 7, 2008
E. Guzynski (Charlotte, NC, USA)
I first saw this ladder at Linens and Things but when I needed to buy they no longer carried it . I had been hunting for a long time and finally found it on Amazon.com. It is every thing I was hoping for...strong, stable, and so light weight that I can grab it quickly for use in my new Kitchen! I love it and so many friends have asked about it. They are equally impressed. Thanks Polder....This is a great product!

5 out of 5 stars Light Ladder   June 15, 2008

Was searching for this ladder (my Mom has one). Was so glad to find it on Amazon.
Could have been packed better. It arrived with a small dent!

5 out of 5 stars Just what I wanted   May 5, 2008

I had used my mother in-law's Polder 2 step ladder before. The design on this one had been updated a little. This ladder is light weight because of the aluminum extrusion used for its construction, you can haul it around with just one hand. Excellent quality, and Amazon had one of the best prices around. Just be weary, the maximum weight limit is 225 lbs, so don't have any linemen climb up on your ladder.

5 out of 5 stars works for me!   March 31, 2008

I moved into a new apt that is small but high ceiling (in nyc, go figure..), so to solve storage problem my roommate and i need to go skinny and vertical. we're both 5' short girls and pretty much handicapped around the apt, so i decided to get this light weight ladder... tho this is really much on the expensive side, but i think it's well wroth it.

tho the ladder is a bit larger than i'd expected (but also i have no concept how large a 4' ladder would look like...), but it was easy for me to subway it home because it's so light. and i was able to hide and hang it up on the wall behind my door with two nails, so that made me very happy. also the ladder is great looking too and very slick.

the only complain i have with this is the way the ladder collapse, i guess it's not any different from any other ones, but you just have to be careful not to get pinched.

5 out of 5 stars Very useful ladder   March 31, 2008
B. E. Lingle (Dallas, TX)
This ladder is very light weight and easy to handle. It is tall enough to be useful and light enough to be easy to move. I had previously owned a similar Polder ladder, and wanted another. This one is even better than the previous model in that they have eliminated a pinch spot between the folding top step parts. A great small step ladder and well worth the money.
