Product Description "OXO" STEEL BOTTLE OPENER Open bottles and punches holes in cans The dual function bottle opener has soft comfortable grips on either side of the handle Easy to use Compact to store Stainless steel finish Dishwasher safe Carded
Amazon.com Review The cushiony-soft inset on both the top and underside of this opener's ergonomically-shaped handle make it easy to grip. One end flips the tops off bottles while the other features a sharp point for punching holes in cans. Made of stainless steel with a brushed finish for a sleek, contemporary look, this six-inch, dishwasher-safe opener complements other accessories in OXO's barware collection. OXO backs all its products with a satisfaction warranty, and will replace or refund any returned item. --Ann Bieri

Is it possible to fall in love with a bottle opener? ... November 9, 2008 tron3 (New Jersey) ...YES. You must see the OXO can opener in person to fully appreciate the brushed stainless steel, elegant curves, and black rubber grip. It is beautiful in form and function at any angle. While true it functions the same as can openers from the .99 cent store, those just don't compare. This is a full 6" thus offering more leverage for can puncturing and bottle opening. It is akin to quality built carpenter tools. The thicker high grade stainless steel won't bend or rust and is dishwasher safe. We have some of those smaller, cheap openers and they all rusted. You get what you pay for. A great add-on gift, or stocking stuffer for any kitchen utensil lover. A distinctive statement for any kitchen or bar.
Elegant looks, does what a 99 cent Bottle Opener will do August 11, 2008 WoodyWW (Massachusetts) After I ordered this for $6 mail order, I REALLY needed a bottle opener, so I bought 2 of those ordinary chrome or stainless plated bottle openers that you can buy in any supermarket @ 2 for $1.99. Those work great, & I have one for a spare, in case I lose one behind the stove again. But these OXO bottle openers are WAY prettier, & if I had a much nicer kitchen, would have kept mine. (An opinion from someone who's being REALLY frugal right now).......
Best Bottle Opener I've Ever Used July 6, 2008 Jennifer (Massachusetts) I went through a lot of bottle openers before I found this one. My daughter drinks juicy juice in the can so I needed a working bottle opener. I never thought that most bottle openers, well for me anyways, did not work. I was stunned. I've bought over seven or eight different bottle openers that did not work. Thankfully I found this one. I read the reviews, then I ordered one. When I got the bottle opener & tried it I was so happy... I Had Found A Bottle Opener That Actually Worked. Who would have thought that finding a working bottle opener would be such a problem???? Well not me that's for sure.
Efficient Bottle Opener April 19, 2008 L. Richard Lewis (Michigan, USA) The OXO efficiently opens bottles and beverage cans with little manual effort. I particularly like the point end. Its hardness and sharpness seems to minimize spray when it punctures the can top.
Stainless, functional, and compact July 15, 2007 C. Nelson (VA) Not much to say about a bottle opener... It opens beer bottles just fine. Face it, that's why most of you are looking for a bottle opener. It looks nice and is small, so it doesn't take up much space.
