Product Description
When the demands of a family-size breakfast get you down, KitchenAid's spacious four-slice toaster has the answer. Extra wide slots easily accommodate thick slices of bread or bagels into self-centering bread racks, ensuring a perfectly even toast every time. Hassle-free one-year replacement warranty.

5 out of 5 stars Red KitchenAid 4slice toaster   July 9, 2008

Product was just as described. Slots are larger than the typical which makes toasting larger bread and bagels much easier. Wonderful product!

4 out of 5 stars Works great, it's HUGE.   July 2, 2008

I really wanted the cuisinart (who am I kidding I wanted the Dualit), saw the cuisinart in person, rounded at the top made it seem smaller, but the reviews really weren't very good, so I went with this one. It does a very good job toasting. First toaster, one side did not work out of the box, return went smoothly and the second one is fine. Really can't complain except for the size factor, you might take that into consideration if you leave it out on the counter or have minimal counter space.

1 out of 5 stars Do Not Buy   July 2, 2008

Had high expectations because I own other KitchenAid products, which are excellent. I sent first toaster back to KitchenAid because it never really toasted well and one side stopped working within a few months.

It took KitchenAid about 8 weeks to send me a replacement, and it was worse. Takse almost 5 minutes (!) to toast and, even on highest setting, whole grain bread never toasts past very light tan. While the company is sending me a refund, we're been without decent toast for 6 months.

Love the toaster. Only (minor) complaint would be that the toaster slots could be larger. Long slices of bread do not fit in (go down) all of the way.

5 out of 5 stars Finally, a toaster that works!   June 11, 2008
Rich Mc (Flemington, NJ United States)
After a succession of failed $50 toasters (Cuisinart, Black & Decker, Hamilton Beach, etc.) it is finally satisfying to own a toaster that works. Once you get past the $100 sticker-shock, you'll realize that cheaper toasters that poop-out after only a few months of use are no bargain. This KitchenAid toaster is solidly built, works great and is worth the money.
