Cuisinart TOB-195 August 8, 2008 Joann Fossum (Scottsdale, AZ USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Excellent product! Perfect for two people/small family. Easy to follow directions. Stainless steel looks great with other SS appliances.
Great capacity & design August 8, 2008 G. K. Libbey (Harbor Isle, NY United States) I bought the Cuisinart TOB-195 and am amazed at its capacity and sleek brushed stainless cabinet. This unit can toast 4-6 slice of bread and back a 12" pizza. It has easy to use preprogrammed dedicated buttons for convection/bake, pizza, toast & bagels. The thermostat is adjustable for any temparture. I purchased this item from ABT and they offered a low price plus free shipping. Cuisinart also has a three year guarantee on this unit and will send you a replacement in the event of a problem. A unit I bought in 2005 became defective and they are sending me a courtesy replacment although it is a couple of months out of warranty. Couldn't ask for more or be more pleased with the product, vendor and company.
An incredible little oven! July 18, 2008 Ricardo (Pittsburgh, PA USA) We purchased the Cuisinart TOB-195 Convection oven about a month ago, and have used it several times. The results have been flawless. It's very quick to heat up, and maintains a consistent temperature. In convection mode, it's very quiet. Our older convection oven sounded like it was taking off. The controls are easy to use and clean when necessary, and are very intuitive in their usage. This purchase was money well spent.
A great mini-oven and toaster! Worth the price! July 17, 2008 This is a great product by Cuisinart. At first I was reluctant to spend that much on a toaster but this one is well worth the price. Toasts, eggos, bagels come out perfect. I've also made blueberry muffins and banana bread and they came out great too. it preheats very quickly. I've also used it to cook salmon and chicken. The electronic controls are very intuitive. You really don't need the manual to figure out how the controls work. overall, I highly recommend this mini-oven.
A great toaster oven that actually toasts! July 12, 2008 Janet Freedman (Baltimore, MD USA) I read lots of reviews before purchasing this oven. I've owned other units that never really toasted bread and took forever to broil/bake. I hesitated over the price but I very satisfied with this unit. You get what you pay for! I have used the toasting unit almost daily - the "toast/bagel" option is great for the relatively thick sprouted grain English muffins we frequently have for breakfast. I've also baked muffins and a small chicken and broiled fish fillets with excellent results. The only drawbacks to the unit have been mentioned previously - the toast crumb tray is accessed from the back and the cord is shorter than others I've owned (I actually had to unplug it in order to get the cord out of the way so I could access the crumb tray). But this is a small complaint given that it isn't something needing to be done daily. The Cuisinart delivers on the things that one wants a toaster oven for and I'm very pleased.
