Design flaws and unique lookAugust 21, 2008 SubRosa(Fresno, CA USA) I have used the Kalorik 2-Slice Toaster since 30 April 2008 and have not yet experienced any mechanical problems.
There are design flaws:
1. The slots are not very deep and will not toast the top half inch of a slice of sandwich bread. 2. The crumb tray is less than 4 millimeters in depth and will catch only the smallest crumbs; large crumbs will be stuck inside the toaster and must be removed by turning the toaster upside down and gently shaking them out. 3. An open slot encircles the top of the toaster and accommodates the bun warming racks; this open design allows crumbs to fall within the space between the backside of the toasting element and the plastic casing outside the toaster.
