Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Review
This lightweight ice cream scoop with a comfortable curved handle is perfect for serving ice cream or gelato--and stylish enough to bring out to the table. Its trigger mechanism neatly ejects the scoop contents, making this tool also useful for shaping cookie dough, mashed potatoes, and meatballs. When you're done, just throw it in the dishwasher.

The distinctive modern styling of the Platinum Series line allows you to coordinate your kitchen accessories, and the large hanging loop allows for easy storage. --Jennifer Harris

1 out of 5 stars Dough maybe, Ice Cream - definately not!   November 17, 2000

This scoop is attractively made and appears to be of high quality. However, the handle snapped away from the scoop after about a dozen servings and the ice cream wasn't even rock hard. I'd suggest looking at one of the other scoops and pass on this one.

1 out of 5 stars It fell apart the first time I tried to use it.   July 20, 2000

This must be the worst ice cream scoop I have ever seen. It actually fell apart - one of the parts fell off - before I could ever finish scooping the first scoop. I would advise that you do not waste your time with this one.

5 out of 5 stars Super Scooper!   June 22, 2000

This is ultimately the best scooper I've ever used! It's easy to scoop the icecream, and no more getting a second spoon out to scrape the icecream out of the scooper. This scooper makes scooping a one-handed job.
