Amazon.com Review Unlike an old-fashioned pizzelle iron, this electric pizzelle baker stays hot--you don't have to wait for it to reheat after you bake a pizzelle. It churns out three 3-inch pizzelle simultaneously in 45-60 seconds, and then is instantly ready to bake three more. The nonstick plates clean easily and release pizzelle readily, and are surrounded by an overflow channel for excess batter. (A precisely calibrated batter spoon is included.) Electronic controls add convenience and flexibility. There are "heat-up" and "ready" lights--there's even a dial so you can choose exactly how brown you want your pizzelle. When warm and pliable, pizzelle can be formed into baskets, cones, and cannoli for holding sweet fillings. (A wooden cannoli dowel is included.) Or they can form sweet sandwiches. Accordingly, accompanying the 1,000-watt appliance are recipes for variously flavored pizzelle and for cannoli fillings. The baker measures 9 inches wide, 3-1/4 inches high, and 10 inches deep, stores upright, and has a cord-wrap underneath. --Fred Brack

Great product May 17, 2008 D. Fontanesi (carlsbad, california) I really like this pizzelle maker. I like the small size pizzelles as they are easier to handle when sprinkled with powdered sugar. The iron works so much better than my old one. Nothing sticks and clean up is very easy.
Great for a newbie! May 3, 2008 Erica K. (Delaware) I had always enjoyed pizzelles that were found around the holidays so much that I bought them year-round from my local grocery store. I decided one day that it would be much easier (and cheaper) if I learned how to make them myself. I bought this pizzelle maker after readind reviews on Amazon as well as a few other online sources. Of course Amazon had the best price and with free shipping I figured I couldn't go wrong. This pizzelle maker is AMAZING! I've never had any experience with making pizzelles and my cookies were perfect from the first batch on! It was so easy to learn how to use this machine and I'm extremely glad I chose it. The cookies are delicious with the enclosed recipe too! Thanks, Chef's Choice, for a great product for a beginner pizzelle-maker!
Pretty pizzelles April 8, 2008 Loves to Bake (Florida) This pizzelle maker is very easy to use. I like the small size of the pizzelles. The red light/green light makes it easy to cook the right amount of time. Make sure you use something to coat it the first time so it won't stick.
Chef's Choice Pizzelle Maker January 7, 2008 joyous26624 (WV) I love, love, love this product! My Husband bought me one for Christmas last year and this year I bought one for a friend. It is very easy to use and cleans up nicely too. Thank you for a great product!
Too Small December 27, 2007 Frank (Central Virginia) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife. She made pizzelles years ago and was initially thrilled. But when she saw the small size of the cookies, her disappointment was clear. We never even plugged it in. I don't disputed the performance other reviewers claimed. But, we got the Villaware pizzelle iron instead and found this traditional size better suited to both standard cookies as well as filled cookies, ice cream cups, etc. that my wife likes to make. It also cooks faster than the Chef's Choice literature claims. Before you buy, be sure you realize how small the cookies this iron makes are. They just aren't suitable for some traditional pizzelle uses
