Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
For flawless looking pancakes or fried eggs, try these Egg/Pancake Rings at home. Set of 4 comes as a single unit that you can place on your griddle or inside your pan (as shown - pan not included). And each ring features a nonstick coating so food removes easily. Handle is heat resistant so you can lift and remove comfortably, and it detaches for cleaning and storage. Use this multipurpose tool for serving perfectly formed side dishes and keeping other food from overlapping as you cook. Great for making layered food presentations, too.

Amazon.com Review
Cooking for a crowd? These rings allow you to fry up to four precisely sized eggs or flapjacks at a shot. Or you can boost efficiency by cooking separate items in the same pan without creating an unintentional goulash. The rings' nonstick surface makes for less mess during serving and cleanup, and they're easy to assemble or take apart. --Emily Bedard

2 out of 5 stars not great   September 20, 2008

These circle are held together by sliding each ring to a middle holder which does not stay together when trying to remove the rings from the pan if the egg/pancake sticks, what a pain. I would have liked it to be welded all together as one piece.

I purchased this so I could make my kids a bunch of pancakes on the weekends, freeze them and rewarm before school. It works ok. It is very cheaply made and comes apart, which I wasn't expecting. The batter sticks to the circles after the first batch that you make. I probably won't use it again, since it is just as easy to pour small circles than worry about the pancakes falling apart when you try and life the ring.

I got a set, the coating start to peel off after 6 months. I didn't read the instruction (if any), so I might over heated it, if that's even possible.

1 out of 5 stars Needs a lot of Improvement   July 25, 2008

Don't let the non-stick fool you. the first few times I used the rings, the eggs would come up with it. I use a little margarine on my finger and spread it around the rings and it solves that problem. Another problem is that the eggs will leak through the bottoms of the rings. I live with that and use the flat side of a butter knife and press down a little before I remove the rings. I think they could certainly improve this item. I would rather pay more for a heaver set.

5 out of 5 stars My granddaughter is happy now!!!!   July 7, 2008
P. A. B. (Pittsburgh, PA USA)
Not long ago, my 5 year old granddaughter was visiting, and I made her an breakfast egg sandwich. She told me, "Grandma, the egg isn't round like I get at school." After looking at every store I could think of to purchase egg rings, and not being able to find them, I turned to Amazon.com. After looking at the numerous sets they have, and reading the reviews of all of them, I decided to purchase this set. And let me tell you, they are great. Like a lot of the reviews stated, I did spray a little non-stick spray in them. And to avoid leakage of the egg white under the ring, I did put the ring into the frying pan and heated it for about 30 seconds. And guess what?? I now have perfectly round fried eggs for my breakfast sandwiches. They fit perfectly on a muffin....just the right size. And they clean up easily, too. I must say, I have never tried the handle due to the fact that I never make more than 3 fried eggs at a time. But I have had no problem removing the ring using a pair of tongs. I am VERY happy with this product, and have recommended it to many people. I was very anxious for the next time my granddaughter came, so that I could make her a breakfast sandwich. And, needless to say, she was very surprised and happy. Just let me tell you, you can't go wrong with this set.
