Product Description The stainless steel waffle maker from Cuisinart with nonstick plates makes four triangular sections at a time. Includes manufacturer's limited warranty. Style WMR-C.
Amazon.com Review Cooking Sunday breakfast for one or two becomes a pleasurable task with this compact waffle maker. Red and green lights indicate when to add batter and when the 7-inch round waffle is done. A regulating thermostat and a five-setting control produce waffles perfectly browned to personal preference. With a brushed stainless-steel exterior and sleek design, the waffle maker looks elegant in any kitchen and stores upright in compact spaces. The nonstick round plate is divided into four quarters and wipes clean easily. This classic waffle maker measures 8 by 9-1/2 by 3 inches, and comes with a three-year warranty against defects. --Ann Bieri

Great Waffle Maker For The Money May 5, 2008 G. Stokes (Chespeake, Virginia USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This waffle maker is what I expected based on the review I have read. I was delighted to see that it only takes about 2 minutes to make a waffle.

This is an excellent product for the money. Take their advice and use PAM or another spray cooking oil before each use (spray lightly!). Don't worry if your first batch or two do not come out perfectly, as this takes a bit of practice and the waffle maker has to season itself. You can find fancy pancake and waffle mixes at Amazon and specialty stores, but I have been using ordinary store-bought (Hungry Jack complete) pancake mix, to which I add a little bourbon vanilla, cinnamon and sweetner in addition to the egg and oil specified, with excellent results. Keep this device clean (wipe it down after each use so you don't get buildup of oil or batter) and you will find the results delightful.
Worst I've ever owned!! April 27, 2008 M.D. This is, without a doubt, the WORST waffle maker I've ever owned! In the past I have owned cheaper models that made decent waffles. When the last one died my husband bought this model based on the name with the hope that it would last longer. It may last forever but I still won't have any waffles! Problem one is that using the recipe that the manufacturer supplied and pouring in a half cup of batter as recommended we end up with batter all over the counter. Annoying enough, but due to the design of the sloped bottom with the slide to set for how brown you want your waffle you end up with batter caking in the opening and consequently inside. This results in having to disassemble the iron with a screwdriver to clean it. Problem two is that even if you coat the iron with oil or butter you end up cooking the batter onto the iron and having to scrape off bits of inedible waffle. We did find a work around to using this iron. If you turn the setting up to five and ignore the oozing batter you can achieve a very brown but edible waffle after you cut off the raw edges. I highly recommend buying something else!
Cuisinart WMR-CA Round Classic Waffle Maker April 24, 2008 P. Anderson After five or six attempts, we have yet to harvest a single waffle. The product is too light weight to work as proposed. The timer or sensor signals something, but it is not the completion of the cooking of a waffle.
