Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
This handy Flexible Turner is perfect for flipping fish filets or omelets while keeping these delicate foods intact. It has a flexible spring-steel head and a comfortable non-slip handle. The sturdy double-rod construction gives you a soft touch for things like lifting cookies off a cookie sheet.

Amazon.com Review
When thicker spatulas just won't do the trick, this thin flexible turner from OXO slips under and lifts even the most delicate fish filet or papery crepe. Measuring 11 inches long, the turner is comprised of a nylon head heat resistant to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, a stainless-steel wire neck, and soft, sure-grip handle. The turner is ideal for use on nonstick cookware and bakeware, and is dishwasher-safe.

A hole in the handle allows the turner to be hung conveniently near the stove. True to OXO's creed of designing products that are easy to use for the widest range of users, the turner is very lightweight and fits the hand comfortably. OXO backs all its products with a satisfaction warranty, and will replace or refund any returned item. --Ann Bieri

3 out of 5 stars nylon spatula   August 17, 2008

it's a little flimsy at the p/u end making heavier things a little bit of a hassle. But it doesn't scratch the no stick pan!

Gotcha!! This is a great product. Heat resistant and slim enough to slip under an egg, (flipping the egg is yet another matter). Flexible and the handle fits nicely in the palm. This is my second Oxo utensil purchase; would definately purchase additional Oxo products.

5 out of 5 stars The coolest tool in the kitchen!   August 12, 2008

I use this turner daily, sometimes 2-3 times. I have other turners, but find myself just washing and using this one over and over. When the hubby cooks, it's the first thing he reaches for. Safe to say, I think I should order another!

Now, I know there are a ton of positive ratings, but I wanted to address the negatives. First off, it's not made of cast iron. It's nylon. It has it's limits. Don't expect it will take the place of your BBQ tools. Don't leave it sitting in a pan. Don't hold it over an open flame. It'll be ugly if you do. This is a turner, and a very good one at that. I have also used it to fry ground beef. It's sharp side makes it perfect for "chopping" the meat into smaller pieces while cooking. I also use it to cut into casseroles and serve them up. I cook scrambled eggs with it, turn pancakes and tortillas and the pretty green color just makes me happy. I'd say it's well worth $5.

3 out of 5 stars An average turner   June 9, 2008

I liked everything about this turner except the handle melts easily if it touches a hot pan rim.

i was so excited but ended up being disappointed. after only a couple weeks of use, the spatula curls up. i know none of the plastic is melting into my food, but it's irritating to have it curl when it should be straight. It also would be nice if the spatula was just slightly thicker.
