Product Description
OXO's Good Grips Cookie Scoop make it easy to scoop up cookie dough and make perfectly round cookies. It's a must-have tool for any baker's kitchen. The Scoop has a soft grip that absorbs pressure while you squeeze. A simple squeeze releases cookie dough in a snap.

Amazon.com Review
Cookies that are uniform in size will bake evenly, creating a consistently perfect batch. Available also in small and large sizes, this medium-size scoop picks up approximately 1-1/2 tablespoons of dough, which yields a cookie 2-3/4 inches in diameter. While the handles are spread a bit wide for small hands to manage easily, the soft grips do add comfort when squeezing to release the dough. Dishwasher-safe, the scoop can also be used to produce decorative 1-3/4-inch balls of ice cream, rice, and other foods. --Ann Bieri

5 out of 5 stars Works GREAT1   September 30, 2008

I was watching "Good Eats" on Food TV and Alton Brown was making some great looking cookies. He was using a cookie scoop that looked like this one. I was not sure if it would do all that it appeared to do but I ordered it anyway. Made a batch of cookies and used the scoop and it worked GREAT! I am very happy with it, I got the large scoop and it does make large cookies. I am now going to get both the small and medium scoops. Happy baking.

This scoop was the exact size I needed for a cookie fundraiser. Turned out perfect. Thank you!

5 out of 5 stars not a unitasker - Alton Brown would be proud!   September 19, 2008

It definitely does the job it's advertised to - makes perfectly uniform cookie dough drops for 2-3 inch diameter cookies, and without the sticky mess. But you can also use this as an mini ice cream scoop or melon baller for decorative features on desserts.

The price is just right for this handy little (and sturdy) kitchen tool.

1 out of 5 stars This is a small scoop - not a medium   September 4, 2008

This scoop holds 1 1/2 tablespoons not the advertised 3. I already had this size.

5 out of 5 stars Kitchen gadget   August 29, 2008

This is one of my favorite kitchen gadgets for little mouth sized melon and ice cream balls. It is sturdy, reliable, and easy to handle.
