Even if entering the kitchen gives you hives, this spoon can make it easier. It's balanced, easy to use and easy to clean and store. It goes from the cooktop to serving in a contemporary fashion...WITHOUT spilling, breaking like some of the el-cheapo brands. If you care for this spoon - it will serve you well for many years. My first one - I used to death and it died only as a result of an accident with (in?) the blender. Been searching for one ever since to replace - and at this price I am buying several!
