 Cute gimic, but knob/lever is shoddy June 13, 2008

I rather liked the Mickey image on my toast and hearing the happy music when they pop up --- what I don't like is that you have to finese the knob down just right to get it to engage. After loosing my temper on countless mornings, the lever bent easily and the knob popped off. I bent it back and am looking for a new toaster

This is the cutest toaster I've ever seen, it was a charming and interesting addition to my Disney kitchen collection. When I saw it I had to have it. It is so funny to see people's faces when you serve them up a slice of toast with Mickey imprinted on the side. I'd trade it for nothing in the world! It's a great addition to any Disney fanatic's collection!!!

I like this toaster but the imprint is not visible at all. It also plays music whenever the toast pops up.

The Mickey Mouse toaster was great--for a short period. The music stopped playing and now it is just an expensive toaster. I bought the more expensive toaster that is no longer made. Calls to Villa Ware are useless. I called Disney and they said that they no longer use this vendor--no surprise there. I was told by an electronics guy that the problem is that the circuitry is too close to the heating element so if you use the toaster long enough and often enough, the sound will go out. Nothing can be done short of replacing the circuity which no one will or can do. I am heading to Disney World in April and will check out any new toasters they might have from a different company. Do not buy this product from Villa Ware. Your enjoyment will be short-lived.

THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RES=PONSE TO CUSTOMERS IS HORRIFIC.YOU CANT TALK TO A LIVE PERSON.. YOU HAVE TO LEAVE EMAIL.WHICH THEY DONT ANSWER ...IVE HAD AN ONGOING PROBLEM WITH ORANGEONIONS.. THEY SENT ME TWO TOASTERS INSTEAD OF TOASTER AND WAFFLE MAKER..SO I LEFT A NEGATIVE REVIEW THEY CALLLED AND ASKED ME TO PLEASE REMOVE THE BAD REVIEW AND THEY WOULD LET ME KEEP THE TOASTER AND SEND ME THE WAFFLE MAKER. I DID AS THEY SAID.GUESS WHAT .. THEY DIDNT SEND ME THE WAFFLE MAKER.. SO I WENT AHEAD AND PAID FOR THE DISNEY WAFFLE MAKER AND ORDERED AGAIN.. WHEN IT ARRIVE AT MY GRANDKIDS HOUSE IT WAS NOT WORKING.. ELECTRICAL PROBLEM. I EMAILED THEM AND AMAZON.. AMAZON IS GREAT I HEARD FROM THEM RIGHT AWAY THEY ARE GOOD .THEY HAVE A WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.. IM STILL WAITING TO SEE WHAT HAPPENDS .. NOW THE WAFFLE MAKER ISNT GONNA MAKE IT FOR CHRISTMAS .. HOW SAD AND DISAPPOINTING.. I REALY THINK THIS WAS DONE WITH MALICE BECAUSE OF MY COMPLAINT TO THEM.... LIKE THE SAID THE QUALITY OF THE TOASTERS WERE GREAT.. IM SO DISAPPOINTED AS I SAID..
