Has paid for itself 100x over! October 11, 2005 Lynette (NJ United States) 10 out of 12 found this review helpful
Nearly all of my friends/family own some sort of waffle iron, but this one makes thes best waffles by far. I bought it as a gift for my 4 year old daughter - and never dreamed I'd be making waffles 4 times a week as per her request! I use 1 cup baking mix, 1 egg, 2/3 cup milk and a tablespoon of oil to make 2 waffles in the iron. Come out light and fluffy every time. The only catch, I tend to take the waffle out before the light goes off, I don't like them as brown as the built in timer would cook them.
Someday My Prince Will Come....and Stay for Breakfast March 16, 2005 PaintChick (In the D) 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
Bought this cute little waffle maker for my niece who loves the Disney Princesses. This waffle maker imprints deep belgium-like waffle marks on one side and Cinderella and her prince in the pumpkin coach on the opposite side. These are quite large waffles. The first time we used it I made a small batch of batter (suggested servings 5-7 waffles) and was only able to make 1 1/2 waffles out of it. But they cook up quickly, sometimes done before the ready light turns off, and they are light and fluffy. I found this one clearance for $9.97, and think it was a great buy. At the time I wouldn't have thought I would use it enough to pay $30 for it, assuming it was just a novelty item for us, but everytime I see (2-3 times a week) her she requests Princess Waffles.
