Highly recommended!!! August 17, 2008 B. LaRue (Florida, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great product. I bought these after spending a good while looking at different ones in the store. The scalloped edged tongs seemed to be sharp as were the pointed type. These were perfect with rectangular edges perfectly shaped not to be sharp or hard. They stay closed when you want them closed and open when you want them open. I looked at all brands available in two discount department stores and then traveled to a kitchen specialty store........these were the only kind that filled the bill for me. The size is also perfect for indoors on the stove stirring or serving noodles, veggies, meats and outdoors on the grill. The silicone edge is good up to 500 degrees. I highly recommend this product and believe me I looked around. Be sure and get 2 to 3 tongs for all your pots and pans on the stove.
I love these tongs. December 5, 2007 Joseph Sacher (Indianapolis, IN USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I've used and discarded too many tongs to count. All are required to be non-stick pan safe, for my grill pans and Scanpan. I've had the standard restaurant style with the rippled edges. I find this more than normal, frustrating. I've tried a pair that stays closed when you point them up and squeeze, but opens when you point them down and squeeze. This was cool at first, but because a serious pain when I actually needed to grip something up and it locks on me. Let alone the edge that seems destined to chop of part of my finger. I was surprised that there we no reviews for this product when I came to the page. I'm here to buy two more. I'm getting sick of using my bad tongs when I've already dirtied this one. Not pinch points, the tong closes when you pull the tab on the bottom (no before). It is just a great pair of tongs.
