Product Description The specially designed double-sided baking unit rotates to allow the batter to coat both upper and lower waffle plates; producing two golden Grand Belgian waffles. Features:Space-saving design allows the waffle baker to be stored easily on your countertop or in a cabinet. Makes two 7.5-in. diameter by 1.25-in. thick grand Belgian waffles in less than five minutes. Waffles bake at a constant temperature optimized for the best results, and waffle browning is controlled with a baking timer. The baking timer display shows the remaining baking time in minutes and seconds. Non-stick waffle plates wipe clean with a paper towel or damp cloth. Drip channel along edge helps prevent overflow and spills. Durable die-cast metal base and stainless steel baker lids and handles remain cool to the touch. Double-sided, clamshell baking unit rotates to provide consistent waffles with minimal gaps and spaces.

It's the geatest. March 7, 2010 Jerry Young 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We started with a different brand Belgian-type waffle maker. It was used only one time - but it never heated to the correct temperature, the ready light never came on and the only completed waffle from the waffle maker was not edible. We took it back to the department store and asked for our money back. I then decided to go ahead and spend the big bucks on the Kitchen Aid double Belgian waffle maker...and we have not been disappointed. The waffles turn out perfect every time. I expect this Kitchen Aid product to last for many years.

The waffles are every bit as good as we have had in fine dining restaurants.
This is the Mac Daddy of all Waffle makers February 6, 2010 Richard Craig (USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My friend, this is the waffle maker you will die with. In fact, "will" this appliance to your favorite child. So solid, I call it the 100-year waffle maker. It looks sexy on the countertop, and you will look and feel like a real waffle chef at the omlet station of buffet. Makes two at a time.
Excellent product! January 7, 2010 Kathleen A. Howard (Midland, Michigan) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This KitchenAid Waffle Baker is excellent. It is built solid, but not too heavy to lift and not too big to store. The first time it was used, it did stick a little, but part of that was due to the fact that the batter was not top notch. I suggest getting batter that is specifically Belgian Waffle mix. Be sure and make sure the mix is pressed in the iron so that there are no air pockets before closing lid to cook. Very happy with the look and taste of our waffles!

wow this is a great waffle maker, it makes 2 of the biggest waffles i have ever seen, it is great this way both my husband and myself are able to have breakfast or in some cases dessert at the same time. it is a great investment in enjoyment! our daughter has 4 children and we may be purchasing her one for the Christmas so all can enjoy breakfast at the same time.
